The NEXheater stores and reuses both the energy embedded in a home’s grey water. Grey Water is the water used to wash people and clothes. It does not include kitchen or toilet waste.

With the launch of the NEXheater, the heat in greywater is converted from a residential waste product to a high value reusable resource.

“Here on Planet Earth, we use a lot of energy to pump, transport, clean and heat water,” noted Nexus eWater CEO Craig Richmond. “With the launch of the NEXheater, homeowners can cut the energy component in water heating by about 75%.”

Nexus eWater will release a production version of the NEXheater to the market in the second half of 2014.
